The charges for a taxi for the ride from Bangalore to Puttaparthi started are 1200 RPS upto 7000 RPS.
My visit to Sri Sathya Sai Baba started on 1 april 1998. Shams, the taxidriver, picked me up at the airport. the rest of my 5-days experience is written down in the booklet "Mijn Hart Spreekt".
Shams told me the next story on febuary 2004: I (Shams) came to Puttaparthi at 1967. In 1968 Indradevi (she is from Mexico) came as first western to see Sai Baba. She went back and brought all the people and improved all the people through the world. Dr. Hislop, Phyllis Krystal and Samual Sandweiss were all his customers from 1972 to 1975.

50e birthday of Sai Baba, that day Phyllis Krystal was with Shams and
he took her to Puttaparthi. At that day Sai Baba gave darshan in a
helicopter. Indradevi went back in 1986. Sai Baba told her to go back,
you are very old age (take rest). Then she went back, She settled in
Argentina as a yoga teacher. She stays there. She had 3 years back her
100e birthday. They celebrated and foto's of her came in the newspaper
in Argentina. Now she is dead.
Shams died in his praying at 23 june 2007.
